About this opportunity

The overall purpose of the Pre-Sales Technical Manager role is to support the sales organization to provide correct information and support the speed of sales in MFS sales engagements. Mobile Financial Services Pre-Sales Technical Manager is a role close to the Product Portfolio, R&D, Delivery & Operations organization, that guide requirements on features and functionalities as planned into the roadmap. The role also expects to drive and empower knowledge sharing, competence and learning culture within the MFS organisation.
The Pre-Sales Technical Manager ensures that the MFS organization can find the correct and latest information about the MFS products and services offerings. Produce information assets that can be re-used to optimize the time for preparing and producing information towards customers during sales, pre-sales, and post-sales. Challenge and promote all staff to work in a knowledge sharing culture, goal is to improve efficiency by reducing the need to rediscover information. The Mobile Financial Services organization is a unique organization where the Profit & Loss (P&L) is the responsibility of the organization. The role requires to achieve the targets for the organization from the sales perspective.
The Pre-Sales Technical Manager is reporting towards Head of Sales as organizational line, is also functionally/operationally reporting towards Head of R&D, Head of Product Portfolio, Head of Delivery and Head of Operations.

What you will do

Provide product and service knowledge transfer to Market Area and Customers
Support Solutions and Sales Offerings towards the Market Area and Customers
Tender support to Market Area
Support RFx answers from qualified opportunities
Participate in Customer workshops
Support engagements to provide high-level cost estimates for requirements which is not in our product or services
Solution Proposal reviews
General Technical/Solution questions
Proactively work on demonstration capabilities to support sales engagements e.g.
EWP-one-BOX
Sandbox / Partner environment
Provide technical value argumentation
Customer and Market Requirement feedback
Collect customer requirements for future product improvements
Propose new functionalities to be added in future releases
Technical Product Description (TPD) document elaboration
Product training for employees
Help to education department providing material
E-learning preparation for sets of use cases
Provide training environment for employees
Product/Release Presentations
Recording of release presentations
Sales Training
Drive MFS Knowledge Management towards internal / external stakeholders
Pre-Sales Readiness
Secure that materials are produced as soon as new features/functionalities are taking into development and make sure we can start to show case features/functionalities as the software is released
Provide correct information about product/solution at any time
Support standardizing of Pre-Sales document
Solution Proposal/Description, Statement of Work, CAST Template, Dimensioning Tools, Project Plans, Potential Partnerships models, Demo Environment, PowerPoint slides with Speaker Notes, Reference Material and Success Stories with proof points

About the Role
You will perform infrastructure operational activities which include upgrades, image patching, monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting.
You will contribute to the design and implementation of operational procedures and policies.
You will recognize common problems and try to prevent them and identify opportunities for service improvement and automation.
Proactively monitor the environment by being part of 24x7 rotation schedules.
Learn from continuous improvement and share the knowledge within the team as well as support in maintaining internal documentation.

Requirement/ Must have
Scripting experience with common languages such as Bash or Python.
Experience with OpenStack, Ceph and infrastructure operations
Knowledge on working with ITIL Processes and Agile methodologies.
At least 1 year of experience with similar responsibilities is a requirement, track record of implementing.

Good to have
Experience with distributed storage solutions for Linux like GlusterFS, lustre, zfs, etc.
Certifications like RHCSA, RHCE, LPI
Experience with Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet)
Experience with Container management (Docker, Kubernetes, LXC)


Qualifications
Bachelor or higher degree


Personal Qualities
Genuinely interested in new technologies, software or hardware.
Well-organized and structured.

The position
We are currently searching for a System Engineer to our IT Operations team. In this position you will be responsible for all aspects of our Citrix environment – from installations and maintenance through to future development projects. I den här rollen jobbar du som systemarkitekt i ett IT-team på ca 20 personer. Tillsammans ansvarar ni för IT-miljön i ett multinationellt företag med ca 800 anställda. Som systemarkitekt är din roll att ansvara för integration av olika systemlösningar och du jobbar också aktivt med företagets partners inom IT-området. Du är kravställare och kvalitetssäkrare vad gäller nya lösningar som utvecklas.

Tillsammans med dina kollegor hittar ni innovativa lösningar för att digitalisera processer och dra nytta av de möjligheter som den nya tekniken och digitaliseringen öppnar för.
