How's work at Cleura?
We're growing pretty quickly at this stage, in customers, revenue, and headcount. We are a part of the Iver Group, but continue to operate as a separate unit under the Iver umbrella. That said, we're also solidly profitable. The company has existed for more than 15 years, so don't expect cash-burning startup insanity. This is all a good position to be in but to be candid, just like any other company, we're not perfect.
As a company, we strive to improve and perfect the structure of how we collaborate and communicate. Still, we're not quite where we want to be in that regard. We have to set a pretty high bar here for ourselves, given that our role in the market comes with a great deal of responsibility. So, we are actively looking for people who come with an open mindset and an eagerness to help us all get better.
Suppose you have specific technical expertise on an issue that another team of colleagues is working on. In that case, you should expect to be asked to contribute your knowledge to solve the problem — just as you will expect to get that same support from them when you have an issue of your own to resolve.

How's work at Cleura?
We're growing pretty quickly at this stage, in customers, revenue, and headcount. We have recently been acquired by Iver, but continue to operate as a separate unit under the Iver umbrella. That said, we're also solidly profitable. The company has existed for more than 15 years, so don't expect cash-burning startup insanity.
As a company, we strive to improve and perfect the structure of how we collaborate and communicate. Still, we're not quite where we want to be in that regard. We have to set a pretty high bar here for ourselves, given that our role in the market comes with a great deal of responsibility. So, we are actively looking for people who come with an open mindset and work hard with our continuous improvement.
Suppose you have specific technical expertise on an issue that another team of colleagues is working on. In that case, you should expect to be asked to contribute your knowledge to solve the problem — just as you will expect to get that same support from them, when you have an issue of your own to resolve.
Cleura has signed a Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Swedish entity and is part of Iver AB.

I'm interested. What's next?
We'd like to hear from you! And we have a few additional questions we would like to ask you. You'll be able to apply for this position until 26th August 2022. We will start reviewing the applications in July and invite for the interviews in early August, so make sure you are available.

This is all a good position to be in, but to be candid, just like any other company, we're not perfect.

We will start reviewing applications in July and invite for interviews in early August, so make sure you are available.

How's work at City Network?
City Network has signed a Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Swedish entity and is part of Iver AB.
I'm interested. What's next?
We'd like to hear from you! And we have a few additional questions we would like to ask you. You'll be able to apply for this position until 31st Mar 2022. We will start reviewing and inviting applications as soon as possible after this deadline.

INTERESTED IN JOINING THE CITY NETWORK TEAM? IF SO – WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE A FULL VIEW OF THE FOLLOWING
We are a fast growing company! It means a little chaos is a good thing! We are the European leaders in infrastructure as a service using open source software such as OpenStack.
Our role in the market comes with a great deal of responsibility. We need to be our best at all times. There will be projects and activities heading your way – and some that you were not prepared for – which you need to take on.
We love having fun and working hard. We live to get that smile on our customers face when we solve a problem or simply provide something better than expected. That’s in fact why we go to work the next day.
When something comes up that needs all hands on deck – we are all there – no questions asked.
You need to feel deep down in your soul that this attracts you. If not – there is a great risk you will be disappointed.
What's this gig about?
Our Technology and services teams in the heart of our organisation and the key factor to our current success. As we expand our company and business rapidly, the demand for leadership and structure increases daily. We need you to help us continue to strengthen our Tech Teams.
What should I bring?
A well-documented history of managing Tech teams within the IT-industry.
This is not a job for beginners, we need you to have proof of previous positions similar to this. We will check up references.
A good understanding of Cloud Service distribution and Open-Source Technology.
Fluent communication skills in both Swedish and English. Are there formal education requirements I need to meet, such as a degree in a particular field?
It’s not a demand but preferable if you have a degree and or training in HR-Management, team development and or any formal leadership training.
Who would be my direct manager?
You will report to our HR Manager and work close with our CTO.
What are my responsibilities?
Your task is to manage our Technology & Services teams from a People and Process perspective, meaning tasks like but not limited to:
Recruitment of employees and consultants
Compensation/Salary
Onboarding
Personal development plans
Personal performance follow up
HR related admin such as agreements, schedules, time report, vacation etc
Work environment

Way of work structure
WoW framework (For example Scrum Agile/Agile Kanban etc)
Facilitate Daily check-ins, grooming, planning, retrospectives and big room planning

Communication
Responsible for communications with other line managers and company management
Represents department in non tech matters

Can I work from home?
Yes! As we are in a strange situation in terms of how we can or can’t meet our colleagues until the world goes back to normal again. We work 100% from home and our teams work as distributed teams across Sweden and Europe. We expect you to be able to handle your duties with a “remote first” mindset and that will continue to be part of the deal even when we can come back to our offices in Stockholm and Karlskrona as per normal.
What employment conditions apply?
This is a full time position with 6 weeks' vacation. We have a company policy that specifies a 6-month probation period.
If you live in Sweden or Germany, you would be directly employed by City Network International AB or our German subsidiary.
If you live in any country other than Sweden or Germany (but within EU), we will enter into a contractor agreement as applicable to the legal situation in your country.
Salary and compensation will be negotiated during the interview process.

What's this gig about?
You'll develop and maintain processes to improve customer experience, specify requirements for new features, analyse user behaviour, and work to grow our public cloud customer base by targeting small- and medium-sized companies and developer communities.
What will I be working on?
You will develop the customer journey for the City Cloud service. City Cloud is a public cloud, based on OpenStack, with various adjacent technologies like Git, Ansible, and Open edX.
You will directly contribute to developing new features by producing requirement specifications based on user behaviour, feedback, and feature requests.
You will be responsible for maintaining the City Cloud roadmap.
You will initiate marketing activities together with the marketing team.

What should I bring?
Here are the skills that you'll need to bring:
You should have a clear understanding of marketing, operations management, and finance and a strategic understanding of how products work within a business.
You should be able to communicate concisely and clearly in English and write to be understood.
You should be comfortable with externalizing information.

These are the skills that we really require. Everything else — everything that follows — is a bonus.
Familiarity with the OpenStack platform.
Experience in open-source and community building.

Prior experience in product management within IaaS, SaaS, or PaaS.
Are there formal education requirements I need to meet, such as a degree in a particular field?
Nope. Our selection process will consider prior experience and proven skills equal to a business and marketing degree.
How's work at City Network?
We're growing pretty quickly at this stage, in customers, revenue, and headcount. We have recently been acquired by Iver, but continue to operate as a separate unit under the Iver umbrella. That said, we're also solidly profitable. The company has existed for more than 15 years, so don't expect cash-burning startup insanity. This is all a good position to be in, but to be candid, just like any other company, we're not perfect.
In that case, you should expect to be asked to contribute your knowledge to solve the problem — just as you will expect to get that same support from them, when you have an issue of your own to resolve.
City Network has signed a Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Swedish entity and is part of Iver AB.

Can I work from home?
Yes. The location information you see below is simply that of our corporate HQ. You can work from anywhere where there's a reliable internet connection.
You're welcome to pop into one of our offices if you live near one or travel through, but that won't ever be a necessity for you to get your work done.
What countries can I work from?
No limitations in which country you can work from.
For organizational reasons (we occasionally meet in person, see below), we would generally prefer people who can travel to the EU without a visa.
What employment conditions apply?
This is a full-time position with six weeks' vacation. We have a company policy that specifies a 6-month probation period.
We can offer direct employment agreements in Sweden, Germany, and Austria. However, we are also open to signing a consulting agreement and will also be able to offer proxy employment in many countries through a partner.
If you are interested in relocating to Sweden, we offer assistance in the administrative process with the relevant government authorities, in which we have long experienced. Financial sponsoring of relocation can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Can I apply anonymously?
We'll need a working email address from you, but if you prefer not to give your name or other identifying information in the initial application, you are free to withhold that. However, please be prepared to disclose your identity in the course of an interview — we can't hire you anonymously.
I'm interested. What's next?
We'd like to hear from you! And we have a few additional questions we would like to ask you. You'll be able to apply for this position until 2021-04-01. That's also when we'll start reviewing and ranking applications, and we'll be in touch with you shortly after.

Who would be my direct manager?

We are a fast-growing company! It means a little chaos is a good thing! We are the European leaders in infrastructure as a service (IaaS Clouds) using open-source software as much as possible, for instance, all of our IaaS Clouds are based on OpenStack.
Our role in the market comes with a great deal of responsibility. We need to be our best at all times. There will be projects and activities heading your way – and some that you were not prepared for – which you need to take on. And you should love it.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITY
We are looking for our star communicator. You will have the very challenging task of explaining highly advanced and complicated technical solutions to a non-tech audience. As our tech writer, you will be in charge of creating and managing our service descriptions. You must have the ability to read and understand advanced technical documentation written by engineers and developers, including source code, for other engineers and developers and translate and communicate what you have learned in a non-technical manner. You need to provide writing samples of earlier work where you have explained advanced technical solutions in a non-technical way. We will ask you to create brand-new writing based on the documentation we provide as part of our review process.
Your written communication skills are a hard requirement, and we have our documentation in English. You will need to quickly learn our internal systems and solutions from reading internal documentation and interviewing internal staff. Even though your service description has to be understandable by non-technical staff, it has to be correct enough to be indisputable in legal agreements. We are looking for junior talent to add to our security automation team. You will work in a team responsible for handling the logical parts of Cybersecurity. Your team is mainly responsible for:
Programming automated means of gathering known and published technical vulnerabilities
Programming automated scoping of technical vulnerabilities
Analyzing and risk assessing technical vulnerabilities
Programming automated approval tests for vulnerability patching
Programming automated security hardening of Linux hosts
Programming automated tests of security hardening
Programming automated security auditing and reporting
Programming automated network scanning
Programming automated penetration testing
Programming automated code hardening tests

This is, of course, a team effort, and we will teach you all of the above. Of course, it is meriting if you have prior experience in any of the mentioned tasks, but not required. We use automation tools such as Ansible and AWX and automated testing with Zuul and Gerrit. You will learn how to meet the strictest of security and compliance demands through security automation intended for a cloud service delivery.
What you need to have when you start
This is a junior role, and we fully expect that we will have to educate and train you to fulfill your work requirements. However, there are a few things we need you to have in terms of past experience:
You need to be experienced in Linux administration. All of our relevant infrastructures are Linux based.
You need to be experienced in reading and writing code. You will work mostly in Python, but it is ok if you have prior experience in any programming language.

We have no requirements that you have any formal education. We are fine if you meet our needs through past work experience or formal education, or even home experimentation.
Apart from the required experience, we have the following expectations on your individual skills:
You need to have an open and curious mind. You will continuously learn new things. We expect you to embrace continuous improvement of yourself the same way you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and security.
You need to be genuinely interested in information security. We will teach you the relevant parts, but we expect you to have a genuine interest in the subject.
You need to be willing to improve your communication skills. We have an extensive team culture program, and we will require you to become an excellent communicator. We will train you, but you need to be prepared to put in the effort.
You need to be fluent in writing and speaking English. All our documentation is in English.

Who will be your manager
The hiring manager is Tony Hallén, Head of Quality Assurance.
Domain lead: Vida Ahmadi, CISO.
What timezone would I work in?
We have one mandatory weekly sync meeting of 1 hour at 1300 CET (UTC+1) every Monday. We try to keep our work as loosely-coupled as possible, so any work hours that work for you, normally work for us. We also perform an optional 20 min daily morning check-in at 0815 CET in which we would like you to participate if it is doable.
Is travel involved?
Not as part of your day-to-day. However, we do encourage travel to conferences and meetups, because that will give you an opportunity to learn and share your experience with your peers.
In addition, you should plan for at least two team meetings per year, somewhere on the planet, that we'd like you to participate in. That policy is of course on hiatus right now on account of COVID-19 travel restrictions, but we hope that you'll be with us for many years, and thus we feel it doesn't hurt to share this information now.

City Network has signed a Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Swedish entity and is part of Iver AB.
What employment conditions apply?
You need to have a permanent residence within the European Union.
This is a full-time position with 6 weeks' vacation. We have a company policy that specifies a 6-month probation period.
We can offer direct employment agreements in Sweden and Germany. We are also able to offer proxy employment in many countries through a partner.
If you are interested in relocating to Sweden we offer assistance in the administrative process with the relevant government authorities, in which we have long experience. Financial sponsoring of relocation can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
What will I make?
Your salary (if you live in Sweden, and you're thus a full employee) is between SEK 27,000-32,000 monthly (depending on your experience and performance) — that is after employer taxes, before employee taxes, with legally applicable benefits.
If you live in another country, we make salary adjustments for purchasing power parity based on where you reside, according to the World Bank's PPP conversion rate applicable to your country.
I'm interested. What's next?
We'd like to hear from you! You'll be able to apply for this position until 2021-02-14, 2300 UTC.

City Network is on an exciting journey providing Enterprises and the public sector with regulatory compliant, cloud-based infrastructure services. We are now looking for a back-end developer to strengthen our development team.
This gig is all about designing and developing new features for our cloud management system to enable our customers to take full advantage of the OpenStack infrastructure.
We hope to find a colleague who is eager, able, and willing to develop their skills and become a vital member of our team. We want to hear from the broadest possible selection of people who identify as back-end developers, so we have tried to keep our wish list as open as possible.
Here is what you should know
You should know your way around a Linux server.
You should have experience in back-end development.
You should be able to communicate in a professional, concise, and clear manner in English.

Here are the skills we're happy to teach you
Operations/deployment experience on the OpenStack platform.
An understanding of platform automation with things like Heat, Terraform, Ansible
Experience with CI/CD frameworks like Zuul, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
An understanding of how to create high availability cloud solutions.

And then there are some skills that we would like to know if you have. If not, that is not a dealbreaker, we will gladly help you improve them:
PHP
Python

React

Here are the qualities we'd like you to have
We know, from experience, that these qualities will be essential to succeed in our team.
A genuine interest in new technologies.
Well-organized and structured.
A team player.

Can I work from home?
We are flexible in regard to your place of work and allow you to choose for yourself. You can select remote work if you are located within the EU or join one of our offices in Karlskrona or Stockholm.
Is travel involved?
If you want it to be. We might have customers looking for help in your specific area of expertise and might ask you to come on-site to help them out, should you wish to. Suppose you are a person who enjoys public speaking. In that case, we highly encourage you to travel to open-source community conferences and meetup to give presentations and workshops. Maybe you are a remote worker and wish to come and visit us in any of our offices, in which case we would be glad to have you.
What employment conditions apply?
This is a full-time position with 6 weeks' vacation. We have a company policy that specifies a 6-month probation period.
Can I apply anonymously?
We'll need a working email address from you. Still, suppose you prefer to not give your name or other identifying information in the initial application. In that case, you are free to withhold that. However, please be prepared to disclose your identity in the course of an interview — we can't hire you anonymously.
I'm interested. What's next?
We'd like to hear from you! And we have a few additional questions we would like to ask you. Some of those are about your existing skills and strengths, but if one of them happens to leave you stumped, don't fret! That's totally OK. We don't expect you to bring everything to the table; we'd just like to know what we should prioritize in training.

How's work at City Network?
We are a fast growing company both in terms of customers, revenue, and head count. This is all a good position to be in, but to be candid, just like any other company in that situation, we're not perfect. As a company, we strive to improve and perfect the structure of how we collaborate and communicate, but we're not quite where we want to be in that regard. (We do have to set a pretty high bar here for ourselves, given that our role in the market comes with a great deal of responsibility.) So, we are actively looking for people who come with an open mindset, a willingness to go the distance, and an eagerness to help us all get better. As is true for our customers, if you have specific technical expertise on an issue that another team of colleagues is working on, you should expect to be asked to contribute your knowledge to solving the problem — just as you will expect to get that same support from them, when you have an issue of your own to resolve.
