The role focuses on testing, operating and validating infrastructure performance in customer-like environments. We are looking for a BSS/OSS System Deployment Architect with focus on leading the Ericsson offerings into a highly automated, cloud native and cost-efficient portfolio to deploy, maintain and expend for our customers and for our internal work. You will bring
Bachelor Degree is preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Resource Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related fields
experience with Systems Administration in a *nix environment
more than 5 years of experience from s/w development using modern ci/cd tools with languages such as Python, Golang or Java
Certifications in relevant software development/site reliability engineering with relevant experience



Skills:
Experience designing and implementing orchestration and automation
Experience with modern performance monitoring and diagnostics tools (examples: AppD, Dynatrace, WireShark, etc.)
Be a technical expertise across multiple technology areas and the ability to diagnose issues throughout many technologies.

Our responsibility in Karlskrona is the development of products and components within the Provisioning and Activation area, i.e. activation of Subscribers, Services and Resources through the product Ericsson Dynamic Activation, EDA. Currently, we have ~400 installations worldwide and our products serve over 2 billion users.
You will be at the forefront of Ericsson’s 5G core development enabled by a Cloud Native architecture. We use technologies like Java, Scala, AKKA, Cassandra, OpenStack, Docker and Kubernetes, and development is done according to Agile principles in multi-functional self-organized teams with typically 5-7 Developers. The cornerstones in our development include a very high level of test automation, continuous integration and daily deliveries in a DevOps approach.

Development Group Activation, based in Karlskrona and Shanghai, is responsible for the E2E flow from requirements from the customer, through studies, development, verification and also support for Ericsson Dynamic Activation, EDA and as well parts of CCDM product. EDA product and technical components are used in several solutions and context, 5GC, Private Networks, Ericsson Orchestrator, UDC, together with BSS etc, making collaboration key and our journey exiting!

The organization today has five units in Karlskrona, and three based in Shanghai, reporting to Head of Development Group based in Karlskrona. In addition to the line managers, the leadership team also includes the program roles and leaders for support flow. Now we have an opening as Line Manager in Karlskrona, and are searching for a new colleague to join our leadership team!

Your responsibility as line manager will be to support a unit of 20-25 individuals, organized in teams. The teams are a mix of feature development teams and teams with more focus on Upgrade/Migration/Integration.
