Om tjänsten
Med ökande krav på elektromagnetiskt skydd för både civil och militär utrustning satsar Roxtec på att möta framtidens utmaningar. Marknaden utforskar nya, mer vikt- och kostnadseffektiva metoder för elektromagnetisk avskärmning, vilket innebär nya utmaningar för oss.
Som produktingenjör med fokus på elektromagnetiska fenomen kommer du att tillhöra avdelningen Electromagnetics inom Global Products. I jobbet ingår mätningar, både i vårt labb i Karlskrona och hos externa parter, på kundunika installationer där kraven ofta är hemligstämplade. Du måste ha ett öppet sinne och tycka om att arbeta med projekt där det finns många ospecificerade parametrar.
Du utvärderar och testar prestanda hos Roxtecs lösningar med fokus på elektromagnetiska egenskaper, men tar även hänsyn till andra faktorer som täthet mot brand, vatten, gas, motstånd mot korrosion och andra parametrar som är viktiga för att uppnå en komplett lösning åt kunden.
Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter:
Planera testuppställningar och beställa nödvändigt material
Installera och genomföra tester tillsammans med specialister och ingenjörer inom det elektromagnetiska området
Planera och dokumentera testuppställningar samt resultat
Delta aktivt i tester och analysera resultaten
Genomföra installationsträning, både internt och externt
Bidra till att utveckla och sprida Roxtecs kunskaper inom området
Ge teknisk support och rådgivning

Kvalifikationer
Högskoleexamen inom elektroteknik
Relevant arbetslivserfarenhet inom elektrisk produkttestning och gärna kännedom om Roxtecs produkter
B-körkort
Flytande engelska, i tal och skrift
Erfarenhet av elektrisk provning är meriterande

Be a valuable asset in the development of our HVDC cables and accessories
NKT invests heavily within the research and development area and has a pioneering track record with several recent world records such as the recently qualified 640 kV extruded DC cable system. 
The main purpose with this role is to enhance the product performance and optimize the product design. One key factor is to make a proper balance between modelling the complexity and its usefulness. As a R&D specialist you will provide technical expertise in cable technology, mainly in mechanical design and reliability calculations as well as improving knowledge and design of our HVDC cable & accessories. 
Your primary tasks will be: 
* Mechanical design and analysis of HVDC cable systems using CAD/CAE tools like Solid works and Ansys.
* Be an active part as an expert in R&D projects both for HVDC cable and accessories.

You will be a part of a highly academic and skilled team, based in Karlskrona in the southern part of Sweden. In Karlskrona, NKT has a state of the art manufacturing facility for manufacturing high voltage and extra high voltage power cables, the largest AC & DC electrical test labs in northern Europe and Victoria a cable laying vessel.  We are a part of the international technology organization with colleagues in Cologne, Alingsås and Västerås. Externally we participate in multiple working groups as members in Cigré and other similar committees as well as collaboration with Sweden’s leading universities KTH, CTH and DTU in Copenhagen, Denmark. 
Analytical and inquisitive problem solver with good communication skills
We are looking for an enthusiastic and goal driven specialist who can contribute to NKT keeping its role as a world leading manufacturer of high voltage cables. You are creative in verifying and cross checking the model results and solve problems with a critical, investigational and systematic mindset.

Din framtida utmaning

EMC är samlingsnamnet för allt som påverkas av elektromagnetiska fält och elektriska strömmar. Dina arbetsuppgifter kommer att innehålla allt från ESD, EMP, RadHaz, RÖS, TEMPEST till åskskydd och fartygets signaturer. Kravställning och utvärdering av tekniska lösningar är en naturlig del av ditt jobb som utvecklingsingenjör, men även att handleda och vara teknisk EMC-expert för andra systemingenjörer och konstruktörer. Arbetet innefattar kontakter med leverantörer, kunder och slutanvändare.


Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter är:

* Självständigt genomföra analyser och FoU
* Beräkna, utreda och utvärdera konstruktioner och system
* Utföra, utvärdera och rapportera EMC relaterade mätningar
* Utveckla och utvärdera anvisningar för att uppnå god EMC
* Vara EMC-expert för övriga konstruktörer
* Sprida kunskap om EMC inom företaget och dess kontaktytor

Sektionen bedriver sin verksamhet både i Karlskrona och Malmö vilket kan medföra resor mellan orterna, men även till andra bolag både i Sverige och utomlands. Arbetet kommer att variera mellan kontorsarbete, labbmätningar och tidvis även arbete ombord våra fartyg.

Befattningen kräver att du genomgår och godkänns enligt vid var tid gällande bestämmelser för säkerhetsskydd. För befattningar där Saab har krav på säkerhetsklassinplacering kan, i förekommande fall, medföra krav på visst medborgarskap.
