Roaming Settlement Manager

The overall responsibility for Roaming Commercial is to optimize the cost and revenues on wholesale roaming towards Telenor companies and external customers. Roaming Commercial has also a responsibility to follow up the actual result with commercial and financial reports provided to the Telenor companies. In addition, Roaming Commercial has also the responsibilities to perform the financial settlement towards roaming partners on behalf of the Telenor companies and external customers.
The Roaming Settlement Manager is responsible to support his/her appointed companies in the Telenor Group. The main responsibility is to provide monthly roaming revenue and cost accruals to the Telenor companies and to do settlement of roaming discount agreements with roaming partners. The Roaming Settlement Manager will also follow up on the issuing of credit-/debit notes, payment and collection from the Telenor companies towards the roaming partners. He/She will also be responsible to set up monthly reports on settlements status with the roaming partners.


Duties & Mandate:


Provide monthly roaming revenue and cost accruals to Business Units/Telenor companies
Settlement of roaming discount agreements with roaming partners.
Preparation of end of period roaming discount agreements calculations based on signed agreements
Communication of settlement with roaming partners•Settlement of roaming discount agreements calculations with roaming partners
Follow up on credit-/debit notes issuing and payment and collection•Coordinate with Data & Financial clearing house vendor for resolving issues related to credit-/debit notes and collection•Prepare monthly reports on settlement status with all roaming partners



Education and Experience:


Bachelor's/Postgraduate Degree in Economy or related fields
Experience from working with Roaming services and/or relations
Experience from Roaming negotiations•Experience from working with virtual teams
Experience from working with analysis of relatively large quantity of data
Experienced in working with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

We are now looking for a Wholesale Roaming Business Manager to join our Roaming Business Management & Negotiations team in Karlskrona in Sweden. The main responsibility for this team is to develop and support the wholesale roaming P&L for the Business Units in Telenor Group. In this role, you will be the appointed Business Manager for some of our mobile service providers in the Telenor Group. Your main responsibility will be to optimize the Wholesale Roaming Business and to influence and support the retail roaming activities and strategies initiated in those Business Units you are responsible for. You will be responsible for aligning expectations and agree targets with the Business Units, and attend monthly tactical meetings together with the Business Units in order to report status on the targets. You will also be responsible to set and follow up targets for the Roaming negotiators, who will do the negotiations towards the roaming partners

Essential duties and responsibilities
Optimization of the regional Wholesale Roaming Business
Identify and prioritize initiatives for the regional Wholesale market
Set Business Unit targets in cooperation with the regional Business Units
Provide analysis support of retail initiatives
Approve discount deals negotiated by the roaming negotiators
Distribute the outbound traffic to ensure efficient utilization of the various deals and optimize the cost for the Business Unit and Telenor Group
Discount deal- and forecast handling in our Business Intelligence System
Reporting unit cost plus revenue to Business Units based on our Business Intelligence System
Maintain analysis, targets and business plan reports
Provide input to development of traffic forecasting model
Set regional goals in cooperation with the negotiators



Preferred qualifications
Bachelor's/Postgraduate Degree in Economy or related fields
Minimum 5 years of experience from Business Management
Experience from working with Roaming services and/or relations
Experience from Roaming negotiations
Experience from working with virtual teams
